a5c7b9f00b A pilot battles to save his family and the planet after an experiment for unlimited energy goes wrong. The plot sounded good and I like sci-fi stories. First off it's filmed from a 1st person view for the entire movie - strike 1. It felt like Half Life, at one point the main actor picks up a crowbar just like the video game. It's nothing but pointless shot bang and something falls apart every few minutes. The ending another disaster. It feels playing a game but it's even more interactive and realistic than a game coz it was recorded in real person. The story is fair but those scenes are so real. I am sure it would be awesome if I watch this in a 4D cinema.

The story is quite abstract that they don't really tell you what is happening, but then they tried to tell you step-by-step. But I'm still not very sure the kill switch killed the real world or the copied world.

People who like watching gameplay would definitely enjoy this. Had Smit developed his themes as scrupulously as his visual effects, Kill Switch might have been the next “Primer” or “District 9,” but instead it feels like a demo reel for a game that nobody can play.
